Parable #4: Feeling Small; Walking Tall

FEELING SMALL; WALKING TALL Matthew 13:31-33

The next two parables in chapter 13 stress the inevitable growth of the kingdom of heaven, despite the resistance it faces. The first of the two we examined last week. The parable of the mustard seed contrasts the seemingly insignificant inception of the kingdom of heaven, in the world and in a person’s life, with its momentous results.

Today we will add the second-the leaven-to the first, and look at these two together.
